Active Protection Systems in Modern Combat VehiclesThis report explores the current knowledge of Active Protection Systems (APS) and their relevance in modern battlefield scenarios. While Poland invests in armored platforms, their combat value depends heavily on survivability — significantly enhanced by APS. Both soft-kill (missile guidance disruption) and hard-kill (projectile destruction) systems are essential responses to growing threats from anti-tank weapons, drones, and guided munitions.
